Is greek language easy or hard to learn?
Basically i already know 2 languages and to learn english perfectly it took me 3 years, i have a talent for languages and prenounciation, so i am conidering moving to greece and i wonder if the language is hard or easy? and if anyone there speaks english?
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaany people in Greece speak English, especially among the younger generations (although you’ll find plenty of older people who also speak English).
You don’t say what the other language you know is. Italian? Something else? You should be aware that Greek is relatively difficult grammatically and syntactically in comparison to most romance languages or English. The pronunciation of Greek is easy for Spanish/Italian speakers, but I’ve personally known several native Spanish speakers who could say Greek words very well but even after living some years in Greece still couldn’t actually make a logical, correct sentence in Greek.
In the end, everybody is different so it’s hard to predict how easy/difficult it would be for you. The only way to find out is by trying.
