how to learn the basic German language in 10 days???
okay, all i need is some basic things to say. like: hi, good morning, what’s your name, what kind of things do you like, blah blah blah. my 2 cousins are flying in from germany to live with my family for almost a month. the eldest is 15 (just like me) and the youngest is 12 (just like my little brother). we all speak persian and they know a little english but i know absolutely nothing in german. just a few helpful hints or tips would be AMAZING!!! i can’t tell you how much help i need. thanks!!!

Try this link for German phrases: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/german/ You might want to start with the very basic “Quick Fix” phrases because there are mp3s that you can download and listen to, but there are more advanced mini-courses, too.
Another nice site is http://german.about.com There’s a TON of stuff there; don’t get overwhelmed; you can’t learn it all in ten days!! It’s a good site to bookmark, though, so that if you want to talk about, say, clothes, you can check out the clothing page. Viel Glück (good luck) und viel Spaß (have fun)!
