How difficult would it be for an aussie electrician to live in Daegu?
Want to know if there is work available as an electrician and if there is some english speaking areas about. I can’t speak korean at the moment but will be learning it in korea.
as an electrician an Korea? I teach english there BTW. Most foreigners here are either working as an ESL teacher or in the buisness industry hired, of course, by a Korean firm.
Living in Daegu WILL be a culture shock, it WILL be difficult for a while,(but in a positive way) try reading foreinger’s blogs like (seoullife.net), it always helps.
Why daegu? because in Seoul there is a “foreigner” friendly or western influenced area call Itaewon. It has the highest amount of foreingers living there in entire of Korea. So may be rehink or go over your plans if you made the right discision.
Korean is not an easy language to learn, especially for westerners. It is ever so important to read other peoples blogs in Korea, this helps you to prepare for changes in culture.
